The Contest begins!
The Plain, Salmon, and Gold tickets will "start" to be released beginning April 1st, 2017 and will continued to be released up to the opening of the Metro Gathering Mega Event on 10/28/17. The 100 "Golden Tickets" will be released over the period of 7 months leading up to the Metro Gathering Mega event. These 2017 Village of Sleepy Hollow Dollars will be released in many surrounding states!
Website information
There will be a webpage on this site with updates. There may be some hints and clues to some locations for the newly released "Golden Tickets" and "Salmon tickets", We will keep a log of who found each "Golden Ticket", where is was located and how many are still available. We will post a photo gallery of all the winners each week.
Rules
If you are fortunate to find one of the 100 Golden Tickets, to be eligible to receive the Gold Coin, you must follow the instructions on the ticket. This includes posting a Photo with yourself with the Ticket, the Date and Geocache GC code location where you found the ticket, and your Geocaching name. Only one "Golden Ticket" per Geocacher name, Limit five "second chance Salmon tickets" per Geocaching name are allowed. You must be present at the Metro Gathering Mega Event only to receive the Gold Coin, you must email all the "Golden Ticket" only information to [email protected].

Limited "Golden Ticket" Dollars! These "Golden Ticket Dollars" will be numbered and hand signed on each dollar, they will be inventoried and tracked. If you are one of the very lucky seekers to find a "Golden Ticket" Dollar you must follow the instructions on the tickets and bring it to the Metro Gathering Mega Event on October 28, 2017, where you will receive one of the 100 limited edition Gold Geocoins! ONLY 1 per Geocaching Name and No copies or reproductions allowed. If you are lucky enough to find one in a cache please post a "note" so we know it's been found.

Come in costume and become part of the spooky things roaming the village, enjoy The Legend Scavenger Hunt, carve a jack-o-lantern for a prize or perhaps you'll become part of the Sleepy Hollow folk lore !
