Come join the entire New Jersey Geocaching community, as The Northern New Jersey Cachers, NNJC.org and Central Jersey cachers, CJC, hosts the 7th Annual area 2021 Metro Gathering Event.
Geocachers and families from across the United States and beyond are invited to
enjoy the historic village of East Jersey Old Town.

Visit historic East Jersey Old Town Village and get into the Revolutionary spirit as we make the American Revolution the 2021 Metro Gathering theme. East Jersey Old Town Village is comprised of sixteen reconstructed and replica 18th and 19th century structures that represent architecture typical of farm and merchant communities once found in the Raritan Valley. Buildings include a tavern, blacksmith shop, wheelwright shop, schoolhouse, barracks, church, the homes of early settlers, and other outbuildings.
Visitors can explore the site and meet the historical interpreters that bring the Village to life through their trades and crafts. A gateway site for the Crossroads of the American Revolution National Heritage Area, situated along the Washington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail, the Village offers awarding winning exhibits, living history, and seasonal programs.
FREE ADMISSION - Open Year-Round, excluding Holidays, Rutgers Football game days and Rutgers graduation
Historical Interpreters on-site April - October.
Middlesex County Face Mask UPDATE:
All Mega attendees MUST wear a Face Masks to enter the historic East Jersey Old Town buildings. The Lab Caches, Cupler Spy Ring scavenger hunt and Wheres Waldo will take you inside, please remember to bring a face mask. This policy includes the Friday night Pre Mega event to enter the historic Cornelius Low House.
Masks are NOT required when outside on Village and Park grounds.

Everyone is welcome to join NNJC and CJC Mega Event committee as we host a additional side event "A Summer Evening In The Park" after the NJ American Revolution Mega Event closes.
Stroll over and bring your American Patriotic spirit as we wind down the big day with good conversations and relaxation at a scenic Shady Grove just west of the historic East Jersey Old Town.. LINK

Pre Mega Community Celebration ~ Low House
Everyone is welcome to come join The Pre~Metro Gathering Mega Meet and Greet located at this scenic historic property in Middlesex County NJ. Come and get into the American Patriot spirit, as the NJ's American Revolution Mega (GC93D53) party starts the night before the big day.
PLEASE BRING POT LUCK FOOD AND DRINKS TO SHARE ~ BRING A CHAIR/TABLE TOO.
This event is outside on the lawn of this historic location, we will have some pop ups but limited on seating. We will keep the list of donated food for the picnic. Please post how many will attend and what you can bring to the picnic. Thank you!
Spend time to geo-chat, trackable exchanging and a chance to meet geocachers new to the area who have traveled to the event. Whether you are in the area seeking the numerous caches, interested in meeting new faces and welcoming them to NJ, hungry , or just need a place to unwind and relax - this is your opportunity.
