$5.00 parking fee to help the historic preservation!
​The Metro Gathering Mega Event is being held at the Waterloo Village historic site. This 19th century village is under total restoration to bring it back to it's former glory. There is a $5.00 parking fee which 100% supports the preservation of the historic buildings and take you on a journey back in time. 

We are fortunate to have many buildings open and staffed by the NJ Dept. of Parks and Forestry staff during the mega event.

As a fund raiser to help Waterloo Village's Restoration, a few weekends a year, The Canal Society of NJ (CSNJ) holds "Canal Days" and opens and staffs many of the historic building for the public. In addition to Canal Days, starting in 2016 the Waterloo Village Historic Site is expanding its operations to open the historic village every weekend May ~ October.   The nominal fees raised will help with restoration, revitalize the village as they continue this enormous task to being this village back to life!
